Auto-correct strikes again 😆 My original comment mentioned a default layout that would allow users to change whatever they want, which I don't think would be disturbing for power users. Todays methods of handling the Start menu is extremely binary, which is a step backwards...

But to answer on a more serious note. Branding is one aspect. Different persona's is another, and perhaps easy of access for certain users that's not familiar with computers but have to use them. There's not a single layout that fits all, but a default that users can change is a good start.

Updating the PSADT version in the repo is long overdue, unfortunately. I've not been able to focus as much as I would have wanted om community work for the past months due to some private matters. I think you should update it, test with an app to ensure what you use is working as expected.

None that we have identified. It only takes a few minutes for new devices to appear from our measurements. There's been improvements released to dynamic groups over the years.

Your scenario seems different though if I understand you correct. We don't have any association between a user and a device, as user targeting doesn't do well when mixing PAW, Cloud PCs, Dev Boxes, regular devices etc etc. Device type targeting ftw

We have two deployment ring approaches depending on the intent. One for exponential deployment and one for linear. The second one is how we're rolling out Windows 11 as we speak.

It's perfectly possible to easily create device based groups to be used for ring deployment using the deviceId property. We do that for 100K devices and it works great ☺️
