Beavers have been reintroduced to London - at Ealing. This was as close as we got to seeing them though! There are camera points for people to put their phones, so we can see how they change the topography of the area over time - very clever. #London #wildlife

I love hibiscus. This is a hibiscus rosa-sinensis, although I don't know the name for this particularly attractively coloured variety. I found it growing close to the ground near Whagarei on the North Island of New Zealand. #flower #newzealand

Alpinia purpurata aka Red Ginger. Growing wild on Hiva Oa in the South Pacific. This red bract is not actually the flower, it has a small, less ostentatious, white flower which grows off the bract. Sadly, I did not find any in flower while I was there. #flowerreport #flower
