Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 06/06/2026Reading the Dragon Ball Super manga in June goes kinda crazy. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 05/06/2026Lastly, I think MyAEW works because many of the Sickos are still paying $25-50 per PPV. Anything that can cheapen that price is a win. And there’s ROH content as a bonus. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 05/06/20263) The sell to existing fans is too hard. WWE has negative-ish momentum right now, and it’s been up and down in the HHH era. WWE is too far removed from the PPV model, and fans probably wouldn’t go for a separate “WWE bill” every month. Plus, it’d probably need to be at least $20. 110
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 05/06/20262) The money isn’t there. ESPN is paying over $300 million for the PLEs alone. At $9.99/month (the old price), they’d need 2.5 million subscribers, a near 100% conversion rate from Netflix. Speaking of, part of that $500M/year deal includes the international PLE rights, but it’s unclear how much. 110
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 05/06/20261) The WWE Network launched before Apple TV+, Paramount+ (CBS All Access launched later the same year), Disney+, HBO (Now/Max), and Peacock. Nobody wants one more streaming service, especially for what is a relatively niche interest. 120
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 05/06/2026Every time I see people wish for TKO to bring back the WWE Network, I almost yell at my phone that it’s never ever coming back. It just won’t. The market just doesn’t exist for it anymore. The landscape has changed too dramatically. And the buy rate wouldn’t be there. 110

Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 04/06/2026I got the AEW “Rebel Heart” merch drop email and thought Johnny Gargano debuted at Dynamite, lol. Very cool drop to support Rebel in her ALS fight. Praying for her. 040
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 02/06/2026WWE is wild. They had a match of the year contender on AAA with El Grande Americano Mask vs Mask which stole the weekend from their main roster PLE (despite some matches over-delivering) and followed up with a Monday Night Raw that had nonsensical King and Queen of the Ring Tournament brackets. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 31/05/2026That was a cool freestyle, but every time I see the video, Jay-Z looks more and more like this guy: 020
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 30/05/2026Lil Yachty being full-time with WWE now is so funny. I love it. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 30/05/2026I wonder if that will even help the stock price at this point 🥴 110
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 29/05/2026The recent trend of retirees being unable to afford property taxes and the ongoing trend of young people not being able to buy starter homes is rooted in the exact same problem, but everyone keeps addressing them like they’re not. 110
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 29/05/2026Other than the White House UFC event, I have to wonder what else TKO might up to that could push their stock up in the near term. 131
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 29/05/2026Personally I feel like a just legal system would look at bodycam footage of a cop accusing of a one-armed woman of using a phone with her missing hand as a reason to second-guess any testimony he’s previously put before the court. Or, at the very least, question his credibility. But alas. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 28/05/2026I appreciate that Cody was bold enough to say that Survivor Series is the one that falls out. It’s felt like less of a big deal than Money in the Bank as of late. 010

Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 13/01/2025There was a clear opportunity to have Garcia continue as a focal point in the story as an example of Mox’s influence on company. But there was nothing. 010
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 13/01/2025I big agree with the Death Riders story being stale. Remember when Daniel Garcia was telling The Elite to do something about it? Then he took Jungle Boy’s title? Then he stopped caring about both that belt and the Death Riders because the Continental Classic was going on? 110
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 16/11/2024Netflix still hasn’t quite gotten live streaming down. I’m having some quality issues, and they’re making me worry about Monday Night Raw next year… 020
Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 24/10/2024I wish I had a job at the Lakers, so that every time I saw LeBron and Bronny at work I could exclaim, “What is it take your son to work day?!” until he got me traded even though I’m an office worker. 010

Nick @nickmitch.bsky.social · 20/02/2024It’s definitely among the last of that 90s-era type of film making, so it feels really 1997-ish. 010
