The Avantris kickstarter went WILD! There's going to be an artbook? Starlight Brigade materials included in the TTRPG? I need that artbook in my hands right now haha Anyways here's some of the last shots I did for the project, some real group love vibes. Thanks for watching and supporting, y'all :]

Only just got this one! It's an alternate scene I worked on from an earlier version of the Bad Guys 2 when, having just beaten Kitty, the Bad Guys discover just who was really behind it all....

More Neon Odyssey roughs! I genuinely get such joy out of small lil extreme close-ups like this, the way character can shine through so clearly on shots that highlight a single thing Check out the full vid here! www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOGd...

yeah I think it's worth checking out even if you haven't seen the first one. First one matters in terms of context, you don't need it going in but it's nice to have! (Also the first one has a lot worth seeing for on its own merits anyways)

When I first started on the @avantris.bsky.social Neon Odyssey project, looking through all the designs, I saw Ko and immediately messaged Swifty saying "I need as many Ko shots as you can give me" haha, she's so cool!!! Check out the full music video here! www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOGd...

Some more work for the @avantris.bsky.social kickstarter promotional music video! These were some of the first shots I had been assigned in the project and some of the last ones to finish, there was a lot of back and forth to get these exactly where they needed to be!

going through old bad guys 2 boards as I think of what to post, and it's funny what can be considered an acceptable board drawing sometimes

scribbly doodle of the bad guys 2 gang floating in a white void with a gun pointed at them. The drawings are so simple they're almost all just circles or squares with googly eyes

In the meantime, have this warmup doodle I did of Kitty and Professor Marmalade, as well as some rough sketches when me and a coworker were trying to figure out what Diane's assistant might look like #badguys2 #thebadguys2

buff marmalade standing next to unimpressed Kitty

loose sketches of Diane Foxington of Bad Guys 2 fame standing next to 3 variants of an overworked and high-strung assistant

Some #thebadguys2 Storyboard! I've only worked on the first version of the movie, meaning the boards are old, but they may have influenced the final a bit. The first sequence I've worked on, kickboxing between Diane and Wolf, super roughly timed. #badguys #wolf #diane #dreamworks #storyboard

Verdi was more talented than me, sure. But I have poems to write anyway, because I have things to say. The best of them get sold and become part of someone else's experience, but even the ones I write just for me are worth something, and the ones that dont work out but I keep thinking about.

Clarity is more important than believability* damn I mean it's both, it's really both, but I tend to favor clarity cuz they can believe what they don't understand y'know
