Trawling through the 1,000s of photos I took on a visit to the archives last year I found reference to events, that I had never heard of, during the German Occupation of the Channel Islands. I need to do some more digging to ensure it checks out and isn’t just a product of the scuttlebutt.

Busy old day, Gym, haircut, posted out some books, acquired some more occupation items, walk in town scoping out a new tour, purchased new shoes, built my Tripadvisor page, wrote part of a forthcoming talk, worked on website, laminated some photos! Sit down then get ready to go out for dinner!

Busy old day! Recorded the first of two episodes of Islands At War August 1944 podcast, edited it, wrote a pitch for a history project I have been invited to be involved in, wrote an article, gym, walk, and spent a quality few hours chatting to Sally. All in all a cracking day to end the weekend.
