It was Schmendrick that got me interested. He helped me understand what potential was and when I met the 2e phb and then Fizban, Gandalf, and Elminster later, they helped me understand what growing wiser meant.

Finally gave Bloodsport Gambler a try. As a solo game, it does not pull punches at all. 2-player is also a furious time. So many ideas to mine here for other games though.

Finally giving the #boardgame Bloodsport Gambler a try. For a solo game, it offers some pretty intense fun. Four two players, it’s super fascinating. I wonder about combining two sets for 4 players. It has a really interesting use for random secret info that should be used more often in games.

One thing about the spaces between #watgames and #ttrpgs is this weird crossover space that existed in the 80s and then reappeared lately. There’s so many neat ideas. Take this from Avalon Hill’s Mystic Wood.
