Vitaly weekly did a review of Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za Za. "...a cinema for the ears. This is then something very worthwhile. Not spooky dark, but twilight dark, sitting on the balcony as daylight fades." so proud of this music made with @danielknoxmusic.bsky.social

I'm doing a play based on Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique and there's a lot of surreal stuff in there and I'm reading the stage directions out loud for an audience to get what's happening and I had to revise "Lizst and Hector enter a ball" to "Lizst and Hector enter a ballroom"

"We were notified that you've uploaded an album that doesn't primarily contain music" this was no fooling and amazing. It did get pushed through. Coinhammer will bang on May 2025

I've worked rather hard on these songs which are very short actually. Kinda contemplative music and each wave feeds into the whole I think. #music #musicsky #musiciansky

March 27th this album of instrumental music I wrote will release. It was one of the hardest things I've done though the songs are so short. It was delicate. @digitalgnosis.bsky.social and @royb0t.net helped with the cover design. Four years of Duolingo helped with the French titles.

Just read in a zoom theatre production the playboy of the western world and really had a blast. What a great play

Like I naturally score horror, action, and epic fantasy stuff but I’ve had so many scoring gigs that are for wistful nostalgia and that is so hard for me to do…I don’t think this person will give me the “make it upbeat” note.

Amazing 5.1 mixing session for @digitalgnosis.bsky.social De Novo! So many lessons learned too! Closer to having the 5.1 THX mix done (and found out the studio is certified so we totally can put that on there!)

Successful theatre reading last night that I produced. Feels great. The play was hilarious and the audience got into it. Feels good

sometimes the midi notes need to be in their own space away from the grid. It's like writing a dotted dotted quarter with a half dot on it. especially when doing pensive/reflective music... or funk... haven't done reflective funk yet (though I guess as J in @digitalgnosis.bsky.social I do a bit)

I gotta say making personal instrumental contemplative music is a bit challenging but worth it in the end. Like my other solo projects give me energy as they are usually, well, energetic...but this takes a different effort

I still have an official not for profit theatre company called Smoke & Mirror Productions that has been in my drawer for about 18 years. It's going to be producing again starting with a public staged reading of this play by an amazing playwright named Joshua Fardon.

Musically this score doesn’t get the credit it deserves awesome motifs, like medieval music vibes, and ultimately for a groovy film.

Tonight I'm playing the biggest role I've ever done in a staged reading. Kinda nervous but that's good as that's energy. Every time I act I feel like I learn something new about writing too. Especially in this script and I'm glad it's got some funny lines in it as well as some good vulnerability.

Back in 2020 I acted in a play and they had to move it to zoom It was the closest I was to the story so I was like why not Score the Odyssey? On streaming they had to split it into 2 albums but the bandcamp has the full underworld track as a bonus track. It's fun to see what randomly gets streamed
