The @guiricast.bsky.social podcast is up for another award at The FCA's, this time 'The Best International Podcast'. It's an honour to be nominated and is testament to the hard work we do to produce such a brilliant podcast and I can't think my co-hosts enough for the great work we do!

Myself and @lukechambers7.bsky.social got together to talk about Málaga's 7th away draw of the season, however more excitingly we spoke about La Romareda's giant goal nets and Luismi, the midfield maestro in a rugby helmet!

How I'm feeling after rugby training last night 😫 3/4's deep heat this morning!

I will die on the hill that Steve Finnan was one of the best right-backs in the Prem during his time.

Introduce yourself with four footballers.

I must say, it has been delightful to watch my beloved Málaga on a normal screen a 2024 level resolution instead of on a certain betting website with dial up speed levels of pixelation.

I'm at the point now where I'm completely unphased by danger in front of San Alfonso Herrero - because I know he'll save it!

I am a HUGE fan of Francho Serrano and his low socks. Out there at 23 years old looking like a Masters Footballer 😍🔥

Six of one, half a dozen of the other for me that challenge. Definitely not a red card in my opinion. #RealZaragozaMálaga

Larubbia with an excellent chance to give Málaga the lead. Take nothing away from the save but he really needs to be scoring from there! 🙏🏻 #RealZaragozaMálaga

Is there anywhere else on the planet where the goals are just as famous as the team? La Romareda always an icon.

Roko has failed to convince thus far and there's a young lad scoring for fun in the Atletico Malagueño side... The Croatian has a point to prove today! 🙏🏻

Can do it on a warm Saturday afternoon on the Costa: ✅ Can do it on a freezing cold Saturday in Moldova: ✅ Aaron Ochoa-Moloney is going far!

Manu Molina heads back to La Romareda tonight as a man in form. There is nothing like going back to your old stomping ground and putting on a show. Hopefully tonight is one of those nights for Manu 🤞🏻😃

In my opinion, Macron make the best kits at the moment with so many bespoke designs but you will not find one as poignant as the 'mud covered' Levante shirt. For their first game back after the devastating floods, the shirt serves as a tribute to those who helped in the aftermath of the DANA 🧡

It's stuff like this that proves the Swedish (and wider Scandinavian region) are happier than us.

Big Dunc will always be synonymous with Everton but whenever I see him wearing that Newcastle shirt with the Newcastle Brown sponsor 😍

Read a great article about Charlie Patino last month about his family links to Depor and why he made the leap from Arsenal to Galicia. However, nearing the end of November and only 52 minutes of football played, I'm worried he's not being given a look in. Hopefully the new manager changes that! 🙏🏻

Visiting Valencia to see how historic flooding hit football at all levels, and talk to those most affected. Some horrific scenes, and many heroic responses www.nytimes.com/athletic/589...

Struggling to think of how relegating a side mid-season and allowing them to play on keeps the integrity of the competition intact... The madness of Ligue 1 continues.
