I took a cross listed Humanities/English 300 level course, The Bible as Literature. It was taught by a Jewish professor. We had 4 born agains in the class who came prepared with their zippered bibles. We had a lot of fun in that class. It was the 70s.

I was raised Catholic and I've read the bible. I even took a class in college titled The Bible as Literature. That was a good class and confirmed all my doubts about the book. Great book of fiction.

I had a professor in the 70s who was from Israel. She served in the military and her opinion at the time, since we had just seen the end of the Vietnam war, was that all Americans should be required to serve the same as Israelis.

I just wish that one of the women journalists he insults like that would say, "NO! You're the disgrace, you worthless piece of s##t! This interview is over!" and walk out on him.

Jackie; SNAP doesn't have "vouchers". SNAP has an EBT card which is used at the grocery store register. Each state has it's own type, but vouchers are no longer used for SNAP benefits. I know this because, as a senior citizen receiving a small ($24 a month) SNAP benefit, I have researched this.

My question is, did some of them learn after all the deaths he caused during the pandemic? I read stories of drumpfsters who admitted they were wrong about him on their deathbeds. How many more people have to needlessly die?

Nixon didn't try to take over the government. His low self esteem made him do some nasty things, but he tried to cover up a theft that he didn't order. And after WWII, we just gave away all our industrial secrets to the world and I think that had more to do with our descent.

So true. The media could have used their clout a decade ago to warn us about the far right wingers that were fueled by the tea party which snowballed into MAGA. More people would have prevented many of these individuals from being elected to state and federal positions.
