Short form posting is live on PixlBit, check out the screenshot below! Just click the new Follow filter to see content from the people you follow - "Bits" will specifically show up in there. Hopefully this strikes a nice balance between long form content and short form updates.

I've hit the home stretch - below are the last items on my dev list for PixlBit. Hoping to wrap these up this weekend, then next week some time, I will start setting up the infrastructure I need for servers. There's some other stuff to do, but I'm hoping to do all that while the new site is live.

I know I've been quiet on the PixlBit 3.0 rewrite, but rest assured it's moving along still. I am sorting out the article posting/editing, which is decently involved, but is also the last thing to get done. Been super busy with other stuff, so progress is slow but progressing. More updates soon!

Here's an actually neat real story that has happened between yesterday and today. I was in my living room, looking outside and noticed a creature out in the road on the other side of the street. People were poking at it with a stick, so I went out and I found this guy: a full grown bearded dragon.

I don't want to jump the gun, but I have been putting in some serious work to relaunch PixlBit. The new database is designed and legacy data has been converted. I've already started back end dev and scaffolded the front end. It's going to be a tremendous improvement, I can't wait to share it!
