Ah, reminds me of the few times I was in Texas. Gotta love places so hot and dry you could cook an egg on the hood of a car, hahahah. Admittedly, a dry heat is better than that soupy nightmare. You know there was one time in my life in Montreal where the humidity was 100% one day? Bleeeeeh.

Oh, we had some nights as bad as days. For us, it was the lingering humidity that just made it extra miserable. Definitely sapped the will to live 😅 (Modern problems require modern solutions. Go grocery shopping with friends, and just shove yourself into a freezer until they're done shopping.)

A week or so ago, I was looking for a couple books by an author from 10 and 15 years ago and my library didn't have them. I requested them via a library form. Today I got a notification in Libby that they purchased both titles. Asking your library for writers' books is an amazing way to support us.

That's interesting. Writing my lines out by hand when I was doing theatre helped me remember them far easier—I'm rather curious how that might translate to just writing in general, rather than memorization. Brains, man. Weird, fascinating piles of electric jello.

This show had the first time I ever recall watching a character vocalize "Addiction is not something you cure, it's something you live with, and it really, really sucks." I've always appreciated the show for that. And the general dynamics between the cast were incredibly fun. Time to rewatch, ha!
