I understand Kwesi patient approach. You’re not signing 3 guys at a top of market deals. You’re maybe signing 1 and a 2nd for middle of the market. He clearly has guys he is targeting. But we had the 6th most cap space and it’s crickets.

If you want Will Fries you’re going to have to pay 20 a year. That’s just where the market is at. Is it smart? Probably not. But the Vikings should still do it. You just can’t ignore an obvious problem for 5+ years. Eventually you have to be aggressive

I understand the 1 year 10 million deal worked out great for Vikings back up QB this year. I’d just much rather roll with a Mullens type and use that extra 7 or 8 million to find a high end guard. One time please Kwesi

Quick dive on Isaiah Rodgers and he’s the exact kind of guy Kwesi targets. Mostly a back up, still very young. When he got a chance to start in limited capacity he excelled. Paying a guy a small deal in hopes of what he can be.
