Gloria Steinem's name has been misspelled on the BBC News homepage for two hours and counting.

To celebrate new Jean Grey casting, let's relive her finest hour, ie nearly falling into a hole. (same era of Marvel in which the Avengers heavily implied the Wasp was just some sort of mascot)
Three panel X-Men comic in which Jean Grey nearly walks into an obvious hole in front of her, has to be warned by Cyclops and telekinetically saves herself with a log

I had to read this a few times to check I really understood it, but if this is genuinely a Labour councillor saying they and their circle are hoping for a Reform win, they should be identified and removed. It's not a game!

Labour are particularly concerned about the implications any Green win could have for the May elections. One Labour Greater Manchester councillor said that activists were genuinely “frightened” that the Green candidate Hannah Spencer, a plumber, could win.

The Greens expect to put 2,000 campaign workers on the ground on Thursday to try to bring out the party’s vote.

“Everybody I know is hoping Reform win and we come second,” said the councillor.

My dad was involved in this very similar project in 1983 at a different company, and he loved HaCF - not accurate in many ways but evocative of the truth in a way that worked for him. He was the marketing director, though, so more the Lee Pace character (he wishes).

Do these "experts" have a view on where this larger group of "skilled operators" will emerge from in this diamond formation?

It’s partly why the classic corporate pyramid structure in the workplace is at risk of shifting into a diamond, workplace experts say, with fewer juniors at the base, a swollen middle of skilled operators and middle managers, and a smaller cohort of leaders at the top.

Didn't expect there to be an episode in which Agent 47 shows up to eliminate the Chipmunks before they can sing again, but here we are.
Still of cartoon in which a bald man in a suit who resembles Agent 47 from Hitman is aggressively gesturing at a worried-looking cartoon chipmunk in a red cap

I've been reading some early Blade comics from the 70s and there are some aspects of the character that have fallen a bit by the wayside, for example his profession as a jazz trumpeter

Is this a big question (because I'm pretty sure I know the answer if it's helpful)?
Laszlo Bock, former head of people operations at Google and a serial founder of HR technology companies, says the big economic question is whether AI's productivity benefits are claimed by capital - feeding through to bigger profits or higher executive pay - or shares with labour, in the form, say, of shorter working hours or higher salaries.

AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (the last bit). Sure, the project will be a total success, as long as this wardrobe leads to Narnia.

Senior Whitehall officials said a 10 per cent headcount reduction was manageable, and could be achieved without compulsory redundancies, if Britain entered a new period of relative political and economic calm."

By far my most viral tweet, nowhere near my best.
Screenshot of a tweet with 5.6k retweets and 24k likes from Jan 2022 that reads: I do sometimes wonder what this government likes about Britain, because it's not <checks notes>: the BBC, the NHS, the National Trust, farmers, fishing communities, London, the Queen, the concept of fair play, the England football team (results dependent) or the rule of law.
