Wild how dropping into an accent can change a character entirely. I've salvaged so many reads I've struggled with by pretending to be British 😂

Howdy, all! Starting this month I'm officially going on maternity leave to prepare for the arrival of my boys, so I won't be in the booth for a couple of months. If you want to follow up on an audition, reach out to me at npucciva@gmail.com and we'll work something out!♥️

As a tabletop junkie, I hate that searching for Lancer and Pathfinder gives me cars instead of fun nerd stuff

This social media thing is so hard. I never have anything to say, lmao

Ahhh. It's that magical time of year where the moment I step into the booth, at least one neighbor decides that it's lawn care time. Even if it's raining.

Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes and kindness. I'm gradually recovering and starting to pick work back up, though it's slow. We'll get there.❤️

Rough news this week. On Monday I unexpectedly lost my brother, so I will be stepping away from VA for a little while. I will, of course, finish my existing projects, but in the meantime I apologize if I'm not around.

Got a lot of awesome VA loot for the holidays! Time to set these bad boys up and get back into the groove 💪

Probably the last day I'm going to be able to get in the booth before I'm swamped with Holiday stuff. Breaks are good, but at the same time, I wanna act!

Because I am eternally #LancerRPG -brained and was in need of something fun, I decided to make up a voice for the ATHENA dm npc in Golden Flame Single take, entirely improv'd XD youtu.be/-2xokR-vjik

I know opinions are mixed on Veilguard rn but playing it has given me a new pie-in-the-sky goal: voice a Bioware protagonist.

Trying to catch back up to the modern world after being so long without power/internet feels like crawling back out of the void. Not that I don't like the void.

800 dollars for the main character in a successful box office release. Your favorite actors aren't making much of a living.

Current estimates say we won't have power back until the 23rd. I'll do my best to check my email once per day but recording is out for the immediate future 😔

Nic the VA @nic-the-va.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Well that storm sure was fun. Anyway, power's still out for the foreseeable future so I'm entering my caveman era. I'm sure the landlord won't mind if I paint on the walls.

We got Sam as a decoration last year and he's been sitting in my studio ever since... Tonight's his night but I don't want to share him and put him outside now! He's mine! 😂

This is what it's like to live with me

Screenshot of a discord conversation. The first user says, "I'm about to do a ton of exertion noises, please don't freak out if you hear me literally screaming and crying." The second user responds with a "this is fine" style emoji.

Probably no surprise that I'm proudest of this lady so far. Aside from being my biggest role, there's just so much about her that resonates with me. No matter where my career takes me in the future, I think I'll always have a soft spot for Sloan. #VoiceActorsOnBluesky

Man, the social media shuffle is getting so old. I'm tired, guys. Tired!! Totally le tired. Anyway, slowly setting up a tent here on bluesky as well, though I can't argue that it's better in almost every way. If this becomes the main way to network I sure as heck wouldn't complain.
