Today is tax day. While the house hears the “NH Advantage Amendment” we thought we’d clear the air on some statements made about us. #NHPolitics

The 2025 EFA expense report is out. These are your tax dollars at work — not for public schools, mind you — but for skiing, and horseback riding. #nhpolitics

Today is equal pay day. The NH Women’s Foundation’s 2025 report shows that on average women earn 76¢ for every dollar a man earns. Pay transparency, paid family leave, and affordable childcare are policies that can empower women, and reduce disparities in wages. #nhpolitics

Per Sec. Scanlon, we have effectively no voter fraud . Changing the rules every cycle disenfranchises people. It remains unseen how this new system will handle thousands of inquiries in the general election and how many people will be unable exercise their right to vote. #nhpolitics

The plane carrying 100+ ICE detainees finally took off from Pease after sitting on the tarmac for 24+ hours. The plane arrived with ~15 minutes notice, amid an imminent blizzard. Typical ICE recklessness. No notice. No planning. No consideration. 🧵(1/2) #NHPolitics

Granite YMCA hosted a roundtable today with Secretary Buttigieg, Congresswoman Goodlander, state democratic leadership, & local stakeholders. It was a privilege to hear such a great conversation among strong leaders on childcare — one of the biggest hurdles for our working families. #nhpolitics

Housing Champions has created THOUSANDS of new, affordable rental units here in NH. Per the BEA report, for every $1535 granted, an entire housing unit was created. This is efficient, effective, and must be supported! #nhpolitics

We’ve been busy: Sen. Long has pitched better pensions where the state picks up more of the tab rather than you and your property taxes. Sen. Watters has hit it out of the park with his new solar and clean water policies. We’re going to bat for a brighter future! #NHPolitics

Op-Ed: Senate Super-Majority Suppressing an Advocate for Education Accountability
The voucher program is an albatross around the neck of our public universities too. This year’s budget, which allows for $87M to private school students, cut the University System’s budget by $35M.

Today marks 84 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor. December 7th 1941 may seem far removed. It was just a mere lifetime ago. Today, let us honor the sacrifice of those who served abroad & those who served at home to defend this nation against fascist tyranny. #nhpolitics

Today, Senate & House Democrats heard firsthand from individuals who’ve faced homelessness. Their stories are heartbreaking & all too common. Putting people on the street is a policy decision. Cutting red tape means nothing if we don’t fund affordable housing. #nhpolitics

Yesterday, State Democrats toured the Rochester Childcare Center. In the face of cuts, the challenges they face are existential. Republicans’ budget gave tens of millions to private schools, but peanuts to childcare. That is fiscally irresponsible, and morally reprehensible. #nhpolitics
