NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

She’s doing good. Thank you. They’ve got lots of work ahead of them setting business stuff up over here

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

It’ll be nice. I def miss them all

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

For sure. I’ll have to see if I can put a bbq in a good spot in their backyard

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

It’ll be nice. They were hoping I could go back out one last time to hang out in their place but wasn’t happening. Prob wanted me to help them pack 😆

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Thank you. They are in stress mode packing things up atm

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I get the daughter and her boyfriend and their fur babies back this week. Moving back out here to a few miles away

I know it’s a supportive hug but I always picture an old film projector when I see that emoji 😆. Showing my age

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Thank you. I was finally able to get the hospital staff to let her have a Coca Cola a day ago which is one of The things she had been craving 🥳😆

020

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Thank you. She’s doing much better at the moment but it’s gonna be a long haul

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Thank you. She’s still in the hospital for awhile longer. She had fractured her back when she either slid off the couch or tried to stand up from and fell. She does/did have a cancerous mass too that they removed. Won’t know till a bit later if that was all of it

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Congrats on the weight. Sorry but I’ve been off so late reply. I think they were even going to add or maybe did add group chats here so we could prob do another food room here at some point.

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Little update. I’ll be back on more soon but mom is in hospital with spine fracture and maybe cancer or at least a mast. Surgery was today. I’m gonna be slow getting back here

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

And now I’m craving surf and turf

281

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

It’s for sure fun. Didn’t need the chicken cage thing as I could have just hung from hooks or things but it looked like a fun one to play with

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

No she’s ok or mostly fine. Thank you. Just meant I wasn’t off on just exciting adventures. She might be moving back out here

100

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I even bought some double hooks with swivels in between so I can rotate that chicken cage thing

000

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Some but just some not so amazing adventure stuff too

100

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I still need to break both of them in

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Ha always. I have a bit of a collection there

000

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Should be tomato sprouts coming up. Direct seeded some that I couldn’t find in my local nurseries. That planter should have Green Zebra, Rosso Sicilian, and Cherokee Purple popping up. Already has Better Boy and Black Cherry growing

081

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I’ve done the grow bags and things too

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Thank you. I’ll update with posts later on the towers. The plants seem to like them a lot. But it’s early. Stress testing one of the big towers to see if I can pull off growing a bunch of squash plants and eggplant and things on the two lower levels. Def great for water loving things

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Me too! I have an actual rotisserie spinning thing I can use in that space. Roast meats and veggies and things. That chicken cage just seemed wild but fun

020

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Thank you. It’s been a bit slow going but it’s coming along

100

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Only took like 2 months but I finally got my chicken roasting cooking over fire bondage cage. If works good I’ll order another. I’ve got a rotisserie and press cage and all kinds of other toys for that space now

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

And idk how they know but I’ve had three big ass grasshoppers and a big ass katydid in the yard while I’ve been doing this stuff. Some insect ass must have posted a bunch of come and get it posters somewhere

030

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Trying out some veggie towers and still have three to put together plus three other raised metal planters. Adding in a dwarf lime tree too and maybe a lemon and/or pomegranate. Don’t mind the mess. Yard is pretty trashed while I’m doing this

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

The kitchen garden in remake progress. I’ve been away lots so it’s going slow. I have a bunch of seedlings hardening up which I’ll fill planters in with. The bottles are all in ollas which are terra cotta vessels or spikes that slowly let water into the soil. Used them before

3142

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Ha. Yeah they are funny. I already had a bunch of Velcro patches for other things and saw that apron with a spot for them and had to have

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Need a good laugh sometimes when I’m spending hours cooking

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Upgrading the kitchen and outdoor cooking attire

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

It’s not too late to get some Spanish style tapas ready for the World Cup final soccer match tomorrow

061

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

New food pics over the years. Seen memory full alerts way too many times 😭😆🥳. I filled that thing up quick like

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Hopefully lasts for a bit longer for you. It’s all annoying. Yeah I need to upgrade the phone too. Have an iPhone I think 13 pro and I wasn’t thinking when I bought it and only got I think the like 128 gig one. Can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had to emergency delete photos just to take

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Hey ya 👋. Miss you. Hope you’ve been doing good

000

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I could hear alerts coming in but couldn’t open the damned iPad up to see anything

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Thank you. Yeah was annoying but hopefully it stays up working now. It’s the only device I have Bluesky on along with some other stuff. Think the screen failed because the iPad still made alert sounds for apps and messages coming in which made it even incredibly more annoying since I

110

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Hey Lisa. Ha. I’d dig right in. I’m food adventurous but even I have my limits on some stuff idk if I’d ever try but that one is fine

000

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

It in to charge so iPad was working but not the screen. Hopefully it stays up working now. I might have spent $$$ on a new big iPad Pro for nothing but I’ll figure out something to do with it. Maybe work stuff

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Good to see you too! It’s so freakin annoying. Seemed like the screen failed. Was glitching for maybe a few weeks then screen would only light up dark grey no login then wouldn’t even do that. iPad still made alert sounds for apps and messages coming in and still made sounds like when you plug it

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

No. If I’m ever back down Cancun way I’ll go. Think he’s attached in some way to a restaurant in Texas too but think that Cancun place is his main thing. Yeah he cooks it all

010

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Tacos with giant beef skulls and all. BRASS restaurant in Cancun Mexico with chef Antonio Garza

NGB (Daniel) @ngb2020.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Spent $$ and bought a new one and now the old one miraculously stated back up today 🤬😑😭😆. Gotta get my Bluesky and all over on the new one in case this one dies again. And my years of food stuff
