Why is my bluesky polluted with lazy, facebook-grade, blurry JPEG political memes?

The branching narratives and scads of characters and storylines gave me whiplash. How can there be a story in there, and emotional journey, if we're bouncing between so many threads so often? Is that my job? To assemble my own story out of these proscribed parts? That's not a story

But the possibility space of customization means there's no way for designers to craft puzzles that the player has to figure out, and so it's kind of just finding the same handful of abilities that do the most damage and cranking them out over and over. Maybe I'm lazy, but I found it so boring

Which is weird because I feel like this is designed for teenager me. I loved the tactics and sprawl of Nethack mechanics, and if you told me then about a game that had all these systems, where you could throw barrels and make ice storms and push people off ledges, I would have been obsessed

Well I came back to BG3 after months of not playing and finally finished it, and I really don't get how it got all this praise and awards and hype. Yes, it is impressive and enormous. But the combat is boring and glitchy and awful, and the story necessarily fractured

Not sure how I feel about the "losers" & "monkeys" name-calling. Unprofessional sure, but god damn GHA is so fucking poorly maintained

ziglang.org/news/migrati... This makes Zig that much cooler in my mind. Github Actions sucks so much shit and isn't fit for purpose

I kinda liked the idea of USB Micro B: it looked kinda like two Micros glued together, and would take Micro, but for full speed you had to use the double wide cable. Longing for an alternate timeline where our 80W Thunderbolt 4 ports are 4 inches wide

I finished Hollow Knight for the first time a few months ago, having bounced off pretty quick when it first came out. I still dont really get the hype. Maybe I'm just burnt out on metroidvania/soulslike/grimdark? Idk.

Ok getting rid of racist terminology is good but "allowlist"?Three syllables!? A mouthfeel like dirty marbles!? Gross Here's an idea: yealist and naylist. Blocklist/passlist. Golist/stoplist. We can do better my friends

I got the dragon man and the squid man to make sweet interdimensional love to each other and that was pretty neat
