At NFF, we use the term ‘intimate partner violence’ (as opposed to terms like ‘domestic violence’) to be more inclusive of diverse relationships and experiences. By using IPV, we acknowledge that violence can occur in all types of intimate relationships. Learn more: neighboursfriendsandfamilies.ca

You don’t have to be a professional to offer valuable support to a victim/survivor of #IPV. It’s not your responsibility to rescue them or make them leave. The most important thing you can do is to help them be less isolated. Get tips for talking to a victim/survivor: www.neighboursfriend...
