Well I hope this is an error… 😐 otherwise being an indie dev on mastodon.social is not viable anymore.

I built a flight tracker for my own trips and it's on the App Store now: 1st Class. Live Activities follow your flight to the gate, every flight stamps a passport, and 146 city guides work offline. Free to download, needs iOS 26. #FlightTracker #iPhone apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...

Three iPhone screenshots of the 1st Class app on a dark background, next to a gold airplane: a list of upcoming flights under a boarding pass, a Lock Screen with two flight Live Activities, and a travel passport with a world map. Text: "1st Class. Track every flight. Remember every trip." Screenshot captions: "Track your Flights", "Up to Date with Live Activities", "Share your Travel Passport".

A decision I keep defending: nothing a guest adds to a Moments album is visible until the host has approved it. A shared album at a wedding is not a group chat. Emma sees it first, Emma says what stays. #Shipaton #BuildInPublic apps.apple.com/app/id679672...

Two iPhones showing the Moments app. The left one shows "Waiting for review" with three wedding photos and an "Approve all" button. The right one shows a guest's photo of a couple kissing outside a columned building, captioned "Outside, everybody at once", shared by Emily, with reject and approve buttons at the top. Text on the card: "Emma sees it all first. She says what stays. Nothing a guest adds is visible until the host approves it."

The latest release now has a much better flight experience. You are in charge of the flight state in case of no reception and slow airport or airline server. No more wrong data on live activities! apps.apple.com/app/1st-clas... #avaiation #flight #tracker #ios #apple #iphone

The Moments beta test at #NSSpain this year was a huge success and it helped me to improve the app to be ready for the #Shipaton judges. People liked the idea and we all had fun making a big album. Use the QR code to see the #AppClip #iosdev #Apple tap.nfc.cool/t/MjCvtSa2

#Shipaton lesson: a tester's photo sat at "sending" for a day. Apple forbids background networking in an App Clip; the simulator never told me. The Clip now uploads in the foreground and says what it is sending. Real phones beat green tests. #BuildInPublic apps.apple.com/app/id679672...

An iPhone showing the Moments App Clip open on the album "Sam's 30th", with the "Who's leaving this?" sheet where a guest types a name before adding a photo. Violet to coral background. Text: Green tests. Stuck photo. An App Clip cannot upload in the background. The simulator does it anyway.

New in NFC.cool: NFC Alarm. Stick NFC tags around your home, and the alarm only stops once you scan them in order. No snooze button, you have to get up. #NFC #iPhone apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...

An iPhone showing a glowing yellow ring around a bell, next to a cup of coffee and three NFC tags in a row, two of them lit up as already scanned. Text: NFC.cool. NFC Alarm: no more snoozing. Scan your NFC tags to stop the alarm.

The whole guest side of Moments: tap the tag, an App Clip opens, add a photo, type a name if you want to. No download, no account, nothing to remember afterwards. The Clip is the product, the app is for the host. #Shipaton #BuildInPublic apps.apple.com/app/id679672...

Two iPhones on a purple to coral gradient under the headline "No app. No account. Just add a photo." The left phone shows the Sam's 30th album grid inside the App Clip with an Add a memory button. The right phone shows the "Who's leaving this?" sheet where a guest types the name Jess, with an optional selfie.

Moments is on the App Store, and it is my @revenuecat.com #Shipaton entry. Put an NFC tag on the guest book. Everyone who taps it lands in the same album, no app, no account. Built alone since July. #BuildInPublic apps.apple.com/app/id679672...

Card headed "The party camera, in every pocket. Emma & Jake's wedding. Every photo lands in one album." An iPhone showing the Emma & Jake wedding album grid, printed party photos tucked behind it, on a violet to coral gradient.

Card headed "Put an NFC tag on the table. Or print the QR code. Both open this album." An iPhone showing the Connect a tag sheet with a QR code over the Sam's 30th album, on a violet to coral gradient.

Card headed "Tap the NFC tag. You're in. Nothing to install, nobody signs up." An iPhone showing the Sam's 30th album open in the App Clip, an NFC wave symbol above the phone, on a violet to coral gradient.

So maybe going the for events route is the best. Everyone at a wedding/birthday/party can drop photos/videos live and everyone can see what’s going on and are able to get all photos super easily. #shipaton #buildinpublic #iosdev

Test the AppClip to full app transition please. You’ll find a demo album in TestFlight. Install this first, test a bit with posting something, make a guest profile, then go back to TestFlight and install the full app.

Wow, what a scammy tactic. This app (of course an ad) showed me a hard paywall with optional trial switch. Then I bought and it looked like it didn’t work, the paywall stayed. So I bought again and wow, now I have two subscriptions. Wtf! #iosdev #appstore #apple

I now have gigabit internet for 15€ a month. Do you know why? Because competition is good! Portugal used to have 3 players in the market and they dictated the prices at around 40€ per month in best case for just internet. Then a Romanian company came and said 15€. 1/2

NFC.cool will soon fully support NTAG 424 DNA 🧬 NTAG 424 DNA is an NFC tag chip with built-in AES-128 cryptography that generates a unique, unclonable message authentication code (SUN/SDM) on each tap for secure product authentication and tamper detection.
