I got my sim racing rig built and working, which is pretty awesome. It’s pretty good considering I had a budget of about AU$1000. I think the next thing I get is a monitor, better pedals, and maybe a better chair. The laptop is a gaming one I already had, and had little use for before this idea.

Related to the Let's Make A Soccer Team Reverse Engineering Project, I managed to get a widescreen patch working for the game. Again, not taking credit, this was 100% Claude Opus 5.5. Honestly the mid 2000s sports aesthetic with all the score-bugs in the 4:3 safe zone is a vibe I jam with.

This was the real holy grail of the LMAST reverse engineering project, it was literally hidden away behind a single variable check in the game. The debug menu, fully translated from Japanese. Seeing this after 24 hours of coding with Claude was ridiculous.

And yes, my current avatar on stream and in the screenshots online is technically Nexxus V3. V1 had a more petite body, V2 had different hair, and V3 with the more idol-style long hair also removed the facial scales, which didn't fit my aesthetic.

I wish I could just put new clothes on the Vroid model and be done, but the wings I'm using require manual atttachment in Unity, so that's the main impediment. If I find a better pair of wings that works specifically with Vroid, I'll add that, but that's not on the list of priorities. Better for V4.

I'm actually getting pretty decent at TEKKEN 8, maining Jin. Gone 4-0 today for the record, just taking a break between sessions so I don't wind up playing the same opponents all the time. I can only focus for a little bit too, so the ADHD mini breaks have been good too.

And FWIW, "consensually" is a very key word here. The Harkness Test very clearly disallows both paedophilia & zoophilia, and I believe it's a pretty standard litmus test, if I'm going to be honest. Paedophiles & Zoophiles should still get the wall, as should this distraction from the Epstein files.

The Harkness Test is a meme image describing what you can ethically romance in fiction, be it in reference to video games, roleplaying games, fiction, fanfiction, or what have you. Not that this will stop the particularly depraved, and to some it's more of a statement of what is dull.

The meme originates from a character named Captain Jack Harkness that first appeared on Doctor Who, later on as an important character on the spinoff Torchwood, before returning to Doctor Who. The character is a flirtatious pansexual action hero who regularly deals with exotic aliens and humans alike. The Test has three layers with an implied fourth.

Is it sentient? Is it a person or an animal? Note that though the test is worded as 'sentient' that is a very low bar to clear: most animals and some plants are sentient, you are Sapient. It's a common mistake most sci-fi makes.
Can they Communicate? Can you ask a question (do you want to bang?), and can they say yes?
Are they "Mature" for their species? This is often phrased as 'sexual maturity', but for humans, that can still land you in hot water, since 'sexual maturity' does not exactly collaborate with 'acceptable age' in every culture, particularly if the gap is large, so be careful with this one.

An implied fourth question is: Is it possible? Most AIs, for example, do pass tests one to three, but good luck sexing up a motherboard with your bio parts. Sentient creatures that externally spawn or have other weird reproduction or have other biological issues such as weird chemistries would also pose challenges to any would-be Command Shepard as well, for similar reasons.
