I often wonder is cavemen had this issue. Like I'm sure Grug slept on rocks leaving his neck at a 90 degree angle and was just fine. Meanwhile, with the help of modern sleep studies and science materials we manage to achieve PAIN!

I just love when it's movie night and we take an intermission so everyone can use the restroom, and I end up taking a bit because I have health issues only to come back and find the movie running. Yeah, I needed a bit after I woke up just to kinda sigh and have a moment of recalling the good times and love we shared. It's been 10 years but it still creeps up now and again. I am so happy and lucky though he was part of my life for as long as he was, he'll always be in my heart.

On today's episode of fucked up dreams. I had to go through my dog withering away and dying while I watched helplessly. Being lost in depression while this was going on and mountains of trash piled up while my family scolded me about it all. In the end he couldn't be saved. What the fuck brain.

Yeah, I'm not afraid to be blunt with someone if I feel the situation calls for it. But unfortunately it leads to me being seen as an asshole. If anyone spent 5 minutes to get to know me they'd see that I'm a guy who likes to make people laugh. Learning to validate myself has been a journey.

Absolutely. Learning to be ok with just being ok is tough. It's a process taken one step at a time. Therapist says I should be my own best friend because I wouldn't expect that of anyone else. But when it's been a major driver and seen so much success it's like.. buhhh. One day I'll get there.

Realizing that I crave outside validation to the point of detriment. When I don't get it I turn it against myself. When I precieve my failure it turns into self-flageration to try and do/be better. Even horses would buck off the rider if they were whipped this much, so why do it to myself?

Thanks a bunch Tuhsano. There are many times where I feel like Atlas, carrying the responsibility of taking care of family and doing what little I can for myself. It claws at me to even talk about it because it feels like I'm whining. At the end of the day I just wish I was stronger.

Feeling overwhelmed, it's been a real cruddy week. I've been feeling the need to isolate because it feels like everyone is mad at me. But it's left me feeling lonely. That with the anxiety of medical things going on, possible (minor) surgery, I'm just exhausted mentally.
