Google Pixel phones are tweaking certain emoji designs to match iPhone in the latest Android 16 Beta Good news? This bridges the gap and makes emoji easier to recognize for switchers. The bad news? Like the death of blobs, it takes away some expression and charm 9to5google.com/2025/12/18/g...

My review of the Pixel 10 Pro XL is up on @9to5google - Tensor G5 runs way cooler ❄️ - Cameras are good, a bit disappointing 📸 - Battery life is a little underwhelming 🔋 - Qi2 brings me nothing but joy 🙌 - The best AI features are the ones you don't have to think about ✨

Pixel 10 event! A lot of thoughts on the event itself, but the phones are the main focus. I *love* the vibrant blues this year (RIP Pro) and Google really did a great job refining this design. Excited to move into the Pixel 10 Pro XL soon Also Qi2! Stay tuned to @9to5google.com !

Nothing compared the Phone (3a)'s camera to the iPhone this week, and the video portion pretty obviously shows the Phone (3a) looking much better. That's because the iPhone was in ultrawide mode. This happens just after the presenters say settings were changed to "make it fair"
