Legin Commons provides 124 homes to people in the Jade District and beyond. Located in Portland Community College’s Southeast Campus, the apartment complex is just a block away from the old site of Legin Restaurant, an iconic Chinese eatery demolished in 2012 to make way for the campus expansion.

Providence announced Tuesday that Phil and Penny Knight have pledged $1.1 billion to build a women's health tower at the St. Vincent campus and support the Providence Heart Institute.

As residents begin moving into the recently completed Legin Commons apartments, road crews prepare to add an enhanced pedestrian crossing at the adjacent intersection of SE Division Street and SE 77th Avenue. Contractors working with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct new curb ramps at the northwest and southwest corners, leading to a new concrete median island placed along a painted, high-visibility crosswalk.

Portland State University has entered into exclusive negotiations with Colas Development Group to build a 150-room hotel and conference center downtown, PSU announced today. It'll be a more than $70 million project and is expected to open in 2030. More to come on this.

Lake Oswego has officially re-zoned 13 acres in the Kruse Woods office park from "office campus" to "high density residential." All 3 buildings at 4000 Kruse Way Place will likely be torn down. The owners of the office park are considering a redevelopment with townhomes and apartments.
