Fields of Zombie Serfs were avoided using skill and guile, and through clever use of the characters' powers (Joan's magic spells and Ulric's Wolves Ways martial arts), the Horned double axe-wielding Warped One was brought down!

Finally on Friday just we finished our Wyrd Sword playtest campaign, which played out across five linked adventure toyboxes. The ending was the discovery of the Tower of the Starshine, which was the original quest of our duo of plucky heroes, Joan (the Magician) and Ulric (The Barbarian). #ttrpg

Update: They woke my daughter, who has just started at Durham Uni, up at 6 am for a traditional induction called Matriculation. It seems to have involved a huge group photo of her college cohort, and they all look ...TWELVE YEARS OLD!!! 🤣

Do all your students look like they are 12? One of delights when i hit my late 40s was any of those "young uns" in their 30s or 20s, automatically no mater their social status, appearance, or manner, magically in my eyes look 12 😂

Back from a round trip that started at six this morning to drop my eldest off at Durham University. Blown away by how green and lovely it all is, and the reception that she received from the student ambassadors when she arrived. Also, her college mascot is a dragon! Well done, our Evie!
