implemented one of the games main combat gimmicks today: Normals! you have three seconds to mash out as many normals as you can for a high combo, but the heavier the input the more of your frames it eats up.

as of today every single UI element should be controller accessible :) overhauled the soda screen entirely (it was previously drawing in the room instead of to the GUI lmao) and fixed the "Are You Sure?" screen to work at any resolution and with more than just the mouse.

Good new(t)s! the next release of NEWT will have greatly improved controller support! Controller support was already in the game but the default bindings were weird and there was no way to change them, both of which change now!!! #gamemaker #gamedev #indiedev
