Don't know how the cycling community viewed the UCI Mixed Time Trial, if there is a sport for the ages it's the triathlon mixed relays, todays world championships U23 Triathlon relays were epically good even if they were predictably won by France Included a bike crash while not riding their bikes

Bike is all charged up, checked and lubed for its first outing in 8-years. Despite it's owner having gained 20lbs in the intervening period, it still fits like a glove. A bit out of fashion but titanium never goes out of style.

Also bringing the 2009 Guru built by USAT and Jack & Adams master mechanic, James Balentine out of retirement. There is nothing like the sound of a Zipp 1080 freewheeling as I overtake you. Yes, is slightly off center and weighs a lot, but nothing I can't offset by skipping breakfast.

at the end of the article, the Salomon Phantasm 3 shoes are described as "performance sneakers" < Lol. The S/Lab Phantasm 3 shoes which are not designed for a fast transition and have no laces, retail for $280 < Lol. Coming to a sprint triathlon near you, shoes that take longer to put on ..

Volunteer in triathlon for this mornings Withoutlimits Littlefoot triathlon in Morrison Colorado. Fantastic small race, but as always every triathlon has its highlights. Ya bo sucks to the fast man who insisted in leaving after he'd finished, enjoy the dq.

Standup paddle board wave is off... Those suckers are fast compared to swimmers

Well given it's not fenced off I can't tell you you cannot bring that chair into transition

Short stop on my long gravel ride for the week. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere on the eastern plains of the Colorado front range. You see this sign and yes off in the distance is a fracking well, very close to a lake.

This seems interesting, not sure I'll ever do a Supertri race given my now retiring status. Anyone care to share their LevelField report card? supertri.com/latest/super...

What Athletes Will Receive
Every finisher from Supertri Austin onwards will receive:

A LevelField result. Calculated from finish time, course data, age, gender, and race-day conditions. Comparable to every other athlete in the field.

A full LevelField leaderboard. Going live after the race, showing where every athlete landed when performance is measured, not just sorted.

A shareable result card. Because a number that actually means something is worth sharing.

Athletes who race a Supertri event also establish a LevelField baseline. Return for a future Supertri event and that baseline becomes the foundation for the Most Improved category, recognising the athletes who made the biggest gains, regardless of pace or finishing position.
