I was raised in a very conservative Christian home. I saw the sequel to "A Thief In The Night", called "A Distant Thunder" when I was 8. Had nightmares for months after seeing the guillotines used to execute those who wouldn't take the mark of the beast. I worried about the rapture till I was 12.

Respectfully, the term is "Democratic governor." Grammatically-speaking, we use the adjective "Democratic" when describing the party affiliation of an elected official, and reserve "Democrat" (the noun) for the person or group itself (e.g., "Democrat in office"). Thanks for indulging my pet peeve!

I needed a new Mac but was waiting until Dec. I wound up buying one on 6/25, but paid the old price and saved $2300 (!!!) on my 128GB M5Max 16" MBP. I put one in both Apple & Amazon carts after reading re: price increase. Apple cart changed, Amazon didn't. I bought. 30m later, Amazon price went up.

I've only seen Begotten 2x - first, in 1998, playing behind a Experimental Audio Research live performance. The visuals were as disorientating as the music. Fantastic show. The 2nd time (at home) I could barely finish. It's playing in Boulder on Oct 9. Think I've got it in me to see it once more.

I also attach a piece of white gaff tape to the upper left hand corner of the 6mil poly bag I keep each record in with the BPM and Camelot key of each track noted in black sharpie, and often will remove the record from the cardboard jacket when DJing out, as the jackets just add extra weight.

One rule of thumb is, it’s always better to come in too fast than too slow. It might not be on but it will sound better., and is easier to correct than too slow. Try that and see if it helps!
