^^In case anyone asks “What about Kotono Mitsuishi’s role reprisal?”: (Revealed back in 2021) she was the only cast member from the 1990s series to be asked to reprise her role (w/ producers’ plea as they wanted her to lead the reboot’s cast members)

Behind-the-scenes trivia/fact: According to Munehisa Sakai (S1&2 series director), him, producers and the casting director chose the voices for the Inner Guardians and Tuxedo Mask SOLELY BASED ON their characters from the manga (for obvious reasons).

The name Eternal Tiaré is translated as “Eternal Tiara” (from French to English). In other words (taken from current edition of the manga’s translation notes (by Kodansha)), the tiara that SM always wore on her forehead became her most powerful weapon.

023

Sailor Moon Crystal Forever 🌙 @newmoonpride.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Eternal Tiaré is Sailor Moon’s final item/weapon and formed when she first transformed into her Eternal form, which she used it to defeat Nehalennia and later battled Sailor Galaxia & Shadow Galactica team. The tiaré is always in its sceptor form and a current rod to NQS.

Eternal Tiaré seen in both "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie (Crystal Season IV)" AND "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie (Crystal Season V)", held by Eternal Sailor Moon.

First two frames: Usagi as Neo-Queen Serenity (approaching form) seen at the end of "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie (Crystal Season IV)", as her and King Endymion heal Elysion and Earth.

Last frame: Neo-Queen Serenity in the 30th century, telling her daughter that she must continue her training despite the distortion in the past (from "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie (Crystal Season V)").

Originally a store-bought kaleidoscope, it was powered by Helios and transformed into an item/weapon for Super Sailor Moon. It was used to defeat the Lemures, the small fuzzy creatures from the Dead Moon Circus. This is the only weapon of SM’s that does not have a sceptor form.

The rod first appears as a sceptor to NQS as she restores Crystal Tokyo to its former glory (after SM & SCM defeats Death Phantom). Similarly, Super Sailor Moon also heals the world (as NQS) w/ the sceptor after Saturn sends Pharaoh 90 back to Tau Star System.

Given by Sailor Moon’s future self (Neo-Queen Serenity)(via Chibi-Usa), the rod becomes a new item/weapon against the Death Busters. It became more powerful when Sailor Moon transforms into Super Sailor Moon.

In the 30th century, this rod was Neo-Queen Serenity’s (future SM) sceptor. This also became Sailor Chibi Moon’s weapon (temproarily) when NQS gave her sceptor to her daughter to assist SM in defeating Death Phantom.

Formed w/ her’s and Tuxedo Mask’s power, the Cutie Moon Rod became the next item/weapon for Sailor Moon against the Black Moon Clan in the present day. According to Luna, this rod was also owned by Queen Serenity during the Silver Millenium era.

There’s also a 2nd Moon Stick owned by Queen Serenity; She used it w/ the Silver Crystal to seal Nehalennia away after appearing at the celebration of Princess Serenity’s birth unannounced. (It has a different design w/ silver-purple color)

Moon Stick is Sailor Moon’s first handheld item/weapon. She uses “Moon Healing Escalation” attack to damage/heal around her. It also has a staff form, which she uses it to vanquish Queen Metalia w/ the Silver Crystal.

^Personal opinion: While it might be offensive to both Yukie Sakō (S1&2) & Akira Takahashi (S3), I wouldn’t mind considering creator Naoko Takeuchi & the producers praising Kazuko Tadano’s designs in 2021.

Controversial question: IF "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal" series released a complete BD collection (39 eps+4 movies), would you guys have prefer them to replace S1-3’s art style w/ Kazuko Tadano’s S4&5/Eternal+Cosmos’s style or not? 🤔
