Congratulations to Sam Scott, named one of eight arts luminaries for the 2026 Governor's Awards for Excellence in the Arts. Scott was the first living painter given a one person show at New Mexico Museum of Art in 1974, later serving as attaché for cultural relations with Vietnam, 1999 to 2000.
