P5 - sour and smoky, wtf ? Chopped basil with a stick of a burnt cassia bark anyone ? #BlindDrams.

N5 - Peat reek, but not Islay. Smoked cheddar ? Earthy and heathery too, burnt hay ( or the Cairngorms this summer ) #BlindDrams

P4 -Dried fruits, figs and prunes. Gingery and spicy with a touch of basil and licourice towards the finish.....not bad this one. #BlindDrams

N4 - Old damp tea chests, a whiff of ash, a box of unstruck swan matches..... #BlindDrams

N3 - Boiled potatoes initally, malty and yeasty. P - Oh sorry, this isnt nice. Pine detergent ...... score it a 0 #BlindDrams

P2 - Full on apricots, oranges and gentle spice. Again, thinner on the tongue than I'd have liked. Leaves a malty bitter taste on the finish. Score it a 1 again sadly. #BlindDrams

N2 - First nose there's tinned tomatoes, on return its faded to just a metallic, rust and mustiness. Mintiness even. #BlindDrams

Dram 1 scores a 1. Not quite a red card but its had a good talking to.....#BlindDrams

1P - Quite watery on the tongue, woody and mildly spicy. Ginger and orange peel, a duff cola from a 'Spoons..... Nose was more appealing than palate. #BlindDrams

1N - New leather with a spot of Kiwi polish. Raspberry jam with a hint of funk. Is there a whiff of the yelow peril, suphur? #BlindDrams

D5... Just about to taste, I get another big whiff of strawberries....Now the fire, or in this case the smoulder. Not at all unpleasant, but something artificial about it. Ex-Islay casks used to liven up an old wine cask spirit ?. #BlindDrams

D5 Pale gold in appearance. Palate straight away, pear drops...flat lemonade, over cooked pastries....#BlindDrams

D4 Has a more gentle effect on the palate than what the nose sugested. Less smokier and softer too. Peppered Mackerel, fish oils that stinks the bin for days, loving this..... #BlindDrams

D4 dark amber in colour. Nose is, well hello. Arbroath smokies and strawberry jam, ( WTF ), wholegrain bread, fresh from the oven, inner tubes..... #BlindDrams

D3 Palate. Gentle malt mixed with woodiness. Red fruits appear again( theme here?) spicy but with just the right amount of warmth rather than fire to lure one back. #BlindDrams

D3 Soft amber in colour with an orange'y glow.... Nose of bogtrotting in the Highlands....mosses, wet Bergahus, soggy leather, damp malt biscuits #BlindDrams

D2. Oiler mouthfeel than D1, retains its heat though. Orange peel, quite bitter and drying, crushed love heart sweets....... #BlindDrams

D2 Bright golden in colour. Nosing initially has a big hit of a mixed bag of foam sweets, those shrimps,bananas etc....Getting pine needles and cones with hints of red fruits too, strawbs maybe...#BlindDrams.

D1 scores a 1 #BlindDrams Go easy drinking this out on't moors, wouldnt want a fire breaking out!

D1 has a wasabi effect on the nasal passges.....might go well with roast beef ! #BlindDrams

D1: Palate: That stings, no sign of runny honey now, its all about sherbert lemons and that fire on the finish. #BlindDrams

D1: Pale straw in appearance. Nosing: beeswax, honeyed too, slight prickle, or should that be sting. Hint of dustiness. A summery dram for sure. #BlindDrams
