Was so busy preparing for the event that I didn't manage to do a formal photoshoot. Posting these work desk photos in the mean time 😅 Technically it is still work in progress anyway. Right now its primer only, I would like to do the purple/red color scheme and optimize various aspects for the kit.

You only have limited colors to use (1-4 usually) so you have to layer them strategically to create the image, and the order matters Here, my layering strategy did not entirely turn out the way I expected so there is a strange bleed effect on the edges, but I guess it is not entirely off-theme...

To apply a color layer, your image is basically burned onto a big cylinder of ink. The cylinder then spins really fast to “throw” the ink through the burned microdots, onto the paper as it passes through the machine

Best i can describe is, its sort of like a more digital/mechanical version of screenprinting, where you layer consecutive passes of colored ink on top of each other to create the overall image (usually 1-4 colors/passes)
