I guess for me it's a combination of all of those. I'm not an artist. I don't want me to tell you what the game needs in terms of art, I need you to tell me "hey, this is gonna look like shit if we do it your way, what about xyz instead". Willing to pay for that, can't find anyone.

One of the highest praises a game studio can get from a player is "I will buy literally whatever you create" and this is my exact situation with Owlcat Games. I'm so hyped about their upcoming Warhammer game and I'm not even a Warhammer fan! Im just ready to gobble down whatever they give me #games

To find stuff on YT, you have to have a question you want to get an answer to first. But that implies that you have a certain amount of understanding already. If you're totally new, you often don't know what you want to ask. His course helped me with that. /2

I bought Thomas' course years ago so I can speak from experience. Why? Because it's pre organized for me, it's explained in a way that I, a non-techie, didn't feel stupid, and it had everything I needed to kickstart my understanding of the whole process. /1

Spot freaking on. As a player, I'm fine with failing, even multiple times. It's so much more fun when you finally GET IT. My most satisfying gaming memories are related to the stuff I had to replay like 20 times before I finally got that puzzle or killed that boss or passed that level
