People keep calling these brownshirts "bounty hunters" but even THEY have restrictions. It seems that there is no law federally or in California requiring law enforcement to identify themselves. So it's time to get to writing the legislators to change this. NOW!

In NYC, Black mothers are more than 12x more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications. It's outrageous — and we need bold change. As Mayor, I will fund dedicated birthing centers in Black-majority neighborhoods — staffed by culturally competent doctors and midwives.
