✳ Are Khufu et al here? ✳ A connection between old and new eras was met by Pharaoh Senusret III who built both a pyramid (Dahshur) and rock cut tomb (Abydos). Why not the same for Dyn IV-XII (or more?). If we were to look at Abydos, the shaded area could be best case.
