We were delighted to welcome Prof. Robert Renden, Ph.D., from the University of Nevada. His lab is currently studying the energetic needs of presynaptic neurons. A big thank you to Prof. Robert Renden for giving us a new glimpse into the microscopic world of the presynapse! #DFG

We welcomed Prof. Kelly Monk from the Vollum Institute to speak about her research for last month’s seminar series. She studies the genetic and cellular make-up of astrocytes in the CNS. We thank Prof. Kelly Monk for her fascinating lecture and for sharing her expertise with our members. #DFG
