I planted this Bergamot last year and it didn’t flower. It survived the Montreal winter ( I covered the pruned plant with leaves and little branches) and not it’s finally flowering!

Bright pink flower. There are 3 main structures: a bottom with around 7 stif petals perpendicular to the stem, then a round layer that looks like a cushion with tiny white hairs and on top a group of narrow petals like fingers coming out and bending a little.

When science is left outside of the room and companies in: this is what happens, an upside down pyramid is the new USA food guide. And it’s the opposite of the Canadian food guide were the food industry was banned from interfering.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.
