Panel 2: Eris is putting on her jacket while turning to look off panel at Ash. 'Can you fold the laundry?' she asks.
Panel 3: Ash, looking left across the panel she's in says, 'Sure thing, babe. I've got this!'
Panel 4: A tag that says later lets you, the reader, know that some time has passed. Ash is standing at the edge of a bed, holding up a t-shirt and looking at it. There is a large pile of laundry to her right, our left. 'What the hell?' she asks. The speech bubble trails into another one in the next panel...
Panel 5: 'We wear the same size shirt?' Ash continues her query. Her mechanical hands spread the collar of the shirt she's holding, revealing a tag that shows that the shirt is union made (good!) and a size medium (befuddling!).
Panel 6: Ash strokes her chin in contemplation. 'How do you get boobs that big into a shirt that small?' she asks. 'There's no way...' She begins mentally calculating Eris's bust size while imagining her girlfriend nude in a seductive pose, shown floating in a thought bubble to the right of Ash's head.
A final circular cut-in panel shows a close up of Ash in a horny stupor. She's forgotten that she's supposed to be folding the laundry.

The second panel has the door violently exloping inward, kicked in by a woman in a black dress--Reika Karpov, aka Eris Akiyama--returning home from an award show.
Panel 3 is a closeup of her very excited face and her bouncing breasts. She's pumping her hands in excitement, holding a trophy in one of them.
"Ash, I'm home!" she says. "I won!" (and then in small text outside the speech bubble "~again.")
Panel 4 is another even closer view of her now confused face, as her girlfriend, Ash, hasn't answered her.

Congrats on 4k! I recently hit 400 and did a smol little raffle myself. :) I draw pinups and comics. Here's my character, Reika (both human and succubus forms). She's the primary subject of my art. Her biggest fear atm is being discovered by the underlings of her former boss, who she killed.

Last years Make A Terrible Comic Day comic vs this years. I know it’s besides the point for this specific comic event… but I’m getting better at this and that makes me happy.

It's #webcomicday! Here's my scrungly comic, Smoke Breaks, about a JAV actress named Eris and w/e else I feel like drawing. It's def one of those "the art will be bad until morale (my skill) improves" style comics, so expect a lot of growing pains and grunge. You can read it at neuroknives.com

Panel 2, cuts to a shot of Reika (wearing only a sports bra and a thong) opening a fridge for a late night snack, only to find that there's nothing in there she can eat. It's filled with medical grade blood bags. "Blood!?" she says. "That's all we've got?"
Panel 3: Reika is holding one of the blood bags, squeezing it. A spurt of blood is ejecting out as she says, "Not even one gallon of semen?"
Panel 4: A reaction shot of 4 vampires who are drinking blood from blood bags, presumably across the living space from where Reika is. "SEMEN!?" one exclaims, "BLEH!" says another. "EW," says the third. Finally, the fourth says "Disgusting!"

There is an editors note riding the space above the final panel that says "I don't know what she's complaining about. She literally ate a guy on page 3."

Panel 1 has you sitting across the desk from her, in the POV of a potential employer. She has her hand on her cheek and she's resting her breasts on the desk. The narrative text, from her POV, reads:
"It's not like I haven't tried anything else..."
Then from off panel, the employer says, "Let's take a look at your..."
The reader's gaze moves from that word balloon to the resume clutched in hand completing the sentence by reading the word Resume.

Panels 2, 3, and 4, illustrate three different jobs and the reasons Reika was fired from them.

In 2 she is a barista and she throws coffee into a police officers face while yelling "fuck off pig!"
In 3 she is a pizza delivery girl for a company called Deep Dick Pizza--she is fired for having sex with the customer, but in this version, the panel is censored. She says, "If you don't tip now I'll kill you."

In panel 4, she is working as a gas station attendant and has set fire two two men in their car. The word bubbles here read "Burn!" and "Nazi scum!"

The final panel returns us to the office where her interview is being conducted. The employer is pointing towards the door and saying "You should be in prison! Get out!"

Reika is doing the eto bleh face and pose. the final narrative text reads "... but that's okay. I know what I'm good at."

Panel 2: she answers it, saying "moshi mosh." A voice on the other end of the line asks "Eris! You filming today?"
Panel 3: A close up of Reika's mouth as she replies, "No. I"m not coming in." Then, "I'm sick." The voice on the other end of the line says, "Okay."
Panel 4: The voice says "just don't watch the news." Similar close up of Reika's mouth as she asks, exasperatedly, "Oh, Christ. What now?"
Panel 5: Reika is bundled up on her couch with a thermometer in her mouth. The TV is on, illumnating the room from off screen. Voices from the TV can be heard, speech bubbles indicating as much say the following: "Mister president! Don't eat that baby!" and "Little babies! Oh, I love the little babies! Their soft little skulls" which is accompanied by crunching sound fx. The final speech bubble, coming from some kind of political pundit on TV, says, "Enough with the woke moralizing! There is nothing in the constitution that says the president can't eat babies."
Reika is staring off into the middle distance, consumed by the delirium of her flu, while the horror of the news washes over her.
