AQuA2 is a great MATLAB tool to detect astrocyte calcium events and other dynamic signals. With the help of Claude Code we ported it to Python, and cut memory usage by 3x. We're making this project available for others to use, test, and modify. github.com/reimerlab/AQ... #astrocytes #neuroscience
