I wanna brag a little because even though I still don't have a job, car, or friends irl, I've been making somme good changes 4 myself. I've started exercising every day, getting up early, meditating, and eating healthier(lots of salads). It's only been like a week but I'm surprised at myself.

i think a lot art now isn't very meaningful or significant. artists/musicians now often decide the genre to make a song in before they make a song. that did happen before but most "new" genres i see are just a slight variation on another existing genre or a combination of existing genres.

a community is mroe special the more highly specific it is, the more that tiny details are preserved over time. lets say for instance that a show has a spin off made of it that uses a different art style, this happens often and is a good example of things losing their original shape.

if i had to try to diagnose this i would say that the point of social media is perpetuation of itself, which will always end up homogenizing. even the things we base our communities upon are often things which have become homogenized.
