We're hiring! We're looking for a Writer and Narrative Designer to join the Fallen London team at a senior or mid level. This position is permanent, remote, and full time, which for us means 35 hours a week. #GamesJobs

Night. The House of Chimes - a tower which you might immediately think of as Big Ben - is adrift in the River Thames. It still seems to be keeping time. In the background, a large, alien building looms over the city of London.

Having trouble keeping up with daily tasks? Maybe an immortal vampire telling you what a good boy/girl/thrall you are might help... If so, you can follow my link and download Self Care Vampire! I've narrated the short stories you can find in there...! selfcarevampire.sng.link/D4n44/cw8wr

A promo image for Self Care Vampire, with the headline reading: "Create your personal schedule"

There is a window for tasks, allowing you to edit and delete them, as well as mark them as completed.

The tasks listed are:
- 08:00 Brush Teeth
- 10:00 Drink Water
- 20:00 CEST Stream on Mondays and Fridays

Below that, it says 'Listen to yours truly in Self Care Vampire, narrating the history of Elijah Bellerose...' with an illustration of the Netherlad holding up a thumbs-up next to it.

Three-panel meme of Isildur and Elrond in the fires of Mount Doom. Panel one, a close up of Isildur holding the One Ring, captioned "We're just normal men". Panel two, Elrond looking furious, "What do you mean, normal men?: Panel three, Isildur looking crafty and slightly evil, "We're just innocent men"

Who says children's toys can't be used for art? xD A fun, quick and easy sketch for @trueref.bsky.social 's September Draw This challenge! #TrueRefDT017 #childrensdrawingtablet #frierenangle #protectedbyfoxglove

Picture of a child's drawing tablet, which consists of a grey plastic body with a black edge, and a black screen on which a drawing in muted rainbow colours is visible. The drawing is of a feminine face, looking slightly up and to the top left corner of the image, a.k.a. the Frieren angle. The hair is pulled back into a low ponytail. The character has slightly pointed elf ears as well. There's rough hatching throughout the drawing to indicate shading.

seem a little out of left field. I personally use FoundryVTT which isn't the best for everyone, as you need to host it yourself or find a 3rd party to host it for you. 2/2

Oh dear... I hadn't heard of that one before. I was aware of Owlbear Rodeo and Roll20. Usually, that kind of language is meant to cover their asses to just be able to share the content you personally uploaded WITH YOURSELF, but those last two bits 'create derivative works from, and sub-license' 1/2

I’m making a browser extension called Safe Badge to let you know which Twitch streamers have disabled Gen AI training. This is an honor system as there’s no way to verify it. But it’s better than nothing. The extension isn’t finished yet but you can give yourself the badge here: safebadge.ori.mx

A screenshot of the browser extension showing the Safe Badge next to a streamer name. The badge is labelled “Gen AI disabled”. The icon displays as a green circle with a diagonal line through it.

Uh #Twitch... WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT?! I've had this tag for well over a year, and now that I want to edit my tags in OBS, you're going to tell me I can't have this tag?! Absolutely ridiculous. The shit cherry on top of today's implementation of auto opt-in of gen ai bullshit.

A screenshot from OBS showing the "Tags" section. Approved tags are "HeThey", "Disabled", "English", "Captions", "FreePalestine", "AuDHD", "pngtuber", and "Cryptid". The bar to search for tags has "TransRights" typed in, and the box has a red border. An error message in red under all the approved tags reads "This tag my conflict with Twitch's moderation policy."

For my Twitch friends, chatter around the traps is "AIOptedOut" is the tag a lot of folks are going with. Twitch are NOT going to label streams that are opted in, so it's our responsibility to ensure folks know our streams are safe and a consistent tag is a good start. #AIOptedOut #Twitch #VSky
