Your network map is now an editor. Draft Mode is live in the NetBird Control Center. Drag a connection to grant access, spin up a new peer with a single use setup key, add routing peers to your networks, and review every API call before anything deploys. Available now on self hosted and cloud.

Access granted once shouldn't mean access forever. NetBird can expire peer logins on whatever schedule you want, anywhere from an hour to 180 days, which forces devices back through your identity provider. This is the setting you'll be glad you turned on the day someone loses a laptop.

Your Plex library, Home Assistant, and the NAS shouldn't need a port forward just so you can reach them from the road. NetBird drops all your devices into a private WireGuard network, so everything at home is reachable from anywhere without exposing a single service to the internet.

NEW VIDEO: Run a Minecraft server at home with Docker Compose, then publish it to players anywhere using the NetBird reverse proxy. Works behind CGNAT, needs no port forwarding, and your friends don't install a thing.

Need a quick way to SSH or RDP into a machine? The NetBird Browser Client runs a full peer as WebAssembly right in the browser. Still end-to-end encrypted with WireGuard, nothing to download. Open a terminal or a remote desktop from any modern browser. docs.netbird.io/manage/peers...

Still opening port 22 so your team can SSH in? You don't have to. NetBird runs SSH over a private WireGuard tunnel, so there's no exposed ports and no static keys to rotate. Access is tied to identity through your IdP, so you control exactly who reaches what. docs.netbird.io/manage/peers...

AdGuard Home is one of those services you can't go back from, right up until you walk out the front door and your phone starts using whatever DNS the coffee shop hands out. NetBird's DNS nameserver feature fixes that. Point your peers at your AdGuard instance at home and every device keeps filtered.

Just because someone logged in correctly doesn't mean their device should be on your network. Posture Checks look at the device before it connects, things like client version, OS, country, IP range, even whether specific security software is actually running. docs.netbird.io/manage/acces...

Want to expose an internal service to the web without opening any ports on your firewall? NetBird’s Reverse Proxy securely routes public traffic to your private apps through a WireGuard tunnel. Auto TLS, no port forwarding, and your backend stays completely invisible to the internet.

I am getting so much damn tailscale propaganda on here. @netbird.bsky.social is awesome, self hostable, generous cloud free tier. It can most likely do everything you need from tailscale, and so much more. Also, as it's open source, anyone can check its privacy claims!
