I do love solid colours background too. Because I think we can tell so many stories through a single colour.

And that's what reminds me how having fun making art can make you powerful and you can make anything you want without feeling down. Because you had fun. And you can love your piece years later.

I don't draw a lot of backgrounds because I'm not confident enough to do it. But when I see what I could do when I'm motivated, I think I should try doing it more often because I love the atmosphere it can give.

commission for @valeraldehyd3.bsky.social completed!!! thank you so much for letting me draw isseilion 💙🤍 i had so much fun!! #vgen #vgencomm #ビバレンFA

It's Issei and Lion from VS AMBIVALENZ! It's part of an AU where Lion is a ghost and Issei is a grim reaper. The background is a shipwreck, as Lion was a pirate before he became a ghost. They are trying to touch each other, Lion looking flustered and Issei smiling, but they pass through each other...

Hehehe, thank you! And yeah, he can't forgive his brother on what HE THINKS what happened so he doesn't really know if he should feel relieved or sad to give up on these good memories. At least thats what i tried to tell with this art and mostly through his facial expression.
