Day 6 - crisis #TW mild blood, violence Lesson learned: don’t mess with sacred henges (unless you WANT to be bitten by a wild antlered canine)

Day 5 - agitation: first rule of standing stones, don’t sit on top of them (especially if they’re owned by a gang of wolves led by a werewolf king)

Day 5 - agitation: 3 penciled panels with the first panel seeing Trævor looking shocked and frightened, panel 2 we see from his POV a gang of wolves, led by a bipedal wolf man with antlers. Panel 3 shows us a closer look at the mysterious werewolf king

(Accidentally did prompt 3 & 4 at the same time): Pivot & introduction - Trævor, while decent at his nautical duties, learns that spending time alone is better than around others, the soft murmurings of nature make him calm. This carved stone he found in fact is -perfect-… Or so it may seem… 🐺

Panel 1: beer steins klink as a shipmate shouts “ Trævor, come! Join us!” While he shys away “s-sorry I uh…don’t drink”.
Panel 2: few years later, Trævor is disgruntled at the loud, noisy crowd on the shoreline as he prepares a ship for disembarking. A dwarven crewman exclaims “Trævor, y’alright? We be settin sail soon”.
Panel 3: establishing shot on a crows nest where Trævor exhales in relief at moonrise over the bay. “That lad be a strange one”
Panel 4: sunrise, as Trævor sits on a carved standing stone in a forest decorated in both Nordic and early Irish runes. He whispers to himself “*inhales*… ahhhh… perfect.

Day 2: Trævor’s past: he got adopted by a widow & her son. While not blood-related, growing up, they might as well have been twins

A black & Celtic woman with her biological son finding a child with a medallion in an alley. She says the following:
Aw sweet thing, what’ya be doing in the trash?…Trævor? Ah, fine name for a fine lad, me & Gerald’ll care wid’ya. Come wit us, we’ll have a grand time together.

Tbh it reads to me as content farming more than anything, on top of people either knowingly or not making remarks that seem like criticism but aren’t providing anything else of substance “Here’s what could be done better” vs “this game is garbage”, and the latter will get overblown>

trying to be as vague-posting as I can but im more shocked this is happening in the fandom than anywhere else rn...

youtube thumnail for a video titles 'living godly in a pagan world' with a kabosu saying "we live in a pagan world? yeah sure, let me wake up with hellenists knocking on my door with pamphlets, drop off my kids at a pagan private school, drive past 12 billboards telling me I'm going to Tartarus, go eat at a pagan establishment like Cernunnos-fil-A, and then watch the president on the news say "Odin bless america!" all while listening to my favorite pagan radio station music. see you at one of the 380,000 pagan temples across this great pagan-majority nation! In Ra we trust!"

Of course! I’m referring to older & lost media; this album as an example is one of my favorites but isn’t hosted on major platforms outside of YouTube rips anymore. IIRC it was made in 1987. I just want to listen to it again without jumping thru a million hoops 😭

Witching hour musings: it’s been on my mind for a while, especially since big corpos think we should own nothing, but I’ve wanted to try out getting into media archiving; music, books, movies, comics, even classic emulators & ROMs Any recommendations on how to both get started AND stay organized?
