I think the thing that makes me the most mad about the last few years is that we're watching the ruling class voluntarily take the american entertainment industry and throw it into a garbage can.

but maybe I'm just insane and paranoid I'm totally open to that possibility

000

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

mm yeah I saw in another reply but are there any like stock videos of these people?? I'm not totally convinced this isn't like an AI's attempt at animating these stock pictures

100

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

oh my goood okay well that's good !! it just looks strange when it's in motion I guess?? maybe it's got a weird filter

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

ugh I hate those ugly ass fonts

100

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

*pointing derogatorily* too much cheese on that burger it's AI

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

LOL OH NOOO I didn't even notice that!! my tip off was the glossiness but also in the stock footage she adjusts her books in her hand and they kind of like phase through each other but the longer I look the more I see

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

ughhhh it's not a thumbnail it's like 10 minutes into a 3 hour video and it's like gross glossy "stock footage"

100

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

like these are AI right. right

A screenshot of three students talking in a brightly lit room that has an AI uncanny valley vibe to it

A screenshot of a thumbnail where it looks like AI food

A screenshot of the same thumbnail where a building has a big sign that says "AS SEEN ON TIKTOK" and it's suspiciously AI-y

Nessa ✨ @nessathewriter.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I've seen youtubers I like use AI (ALLEGEDLY) for a thumbnail or stock footage twice in the last 24 hours

Screenshot from iCarly where Gibby is swinging a large stop sign at Spencer's head
