It’s just local Miami broadcaster guys, but it’s not fun to hear that “Beringeeee” is from Slovenia. We paid for the subscription today and then I saw an Insta add that this game was free. I admit that I’m wary: both FanDuel and Victory+ went down before seasons ended. Would prefer a local station.

The Star Tribune has an article posted on 10/2…I can’t link to it b/c I copied ithe link & it’s broken. It’s well reported, worth the read. It’s correct to be angry about what was said today. It’s also correct to pay attention to what levers the government is pulling to enact its hateful agenda.

More than 1,000 Somali asylum-seekers have been ordered deported since February, reflecting the Trump administration’s continued follow-through on last winter’s federal enforcement action in Minnesota.
More than half the deportation orders involve Somalis living in Minnesota, a nearly tenfold increase from 2025, according to a Minnesota Star Tribune analysis of federal data.
Most Somalis living in Minnesota are either citizens, had legal status or were pursuing asylum claims. Earlier this year, however, the Trump administration cut off a temporary legal protection for Somalis living in the U.S. and fast-tracked hundreds of cases to immigration judges who rarely grant asylum.
More than 500 Somali immigrants from Minnesota were issued removal orders this year. Some have already been deported. Others have been sent to detention centers as far away as Guantánamo Bay, Cuba including at least two from Minnesota.
