I'm really sorry I haven't posted any art in a long while. It's just hard to find inspiration right now. I promise that I'm working on it, and that I have some pieces I'm working on. In the meantime, have this piece I never posted here I made for @rockhikari.bsky.social! Love you all #furryart #art

A piece of art featuring Rock Hikari's dinosaur sona on a 3/4ths angle winking at the viewer with his right eye, as 2 hearts are near him. He has his tongue out in a silly manner, and the piece has a green deep forest like background

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but a friend of mine has let me know that an artist I THOUGHT was mega inspiring was actually using AI. They go by Csnuft or Crazysnuft I genuinely cannot even begin to describe how disappointed I feel. I was literally trying to learn from their timelapses. Wtf 😞

A screenshot of the twitter post by Crazysnuft where they admit to using ai

The text reads: I’m not looking for applause or for anyone to take my side. I just want to be clear and responsible, to say what’s true. There are probably already rumors that I use AI… and yes, that’s not a lie. But they don’t tell the whole story.

I used it only as a reference for rendering techniques, along with real-world references. All the lineart and sketches are completely mine. When I reached a more detailed render, I needed guides, references, and that’s when AI came in. It’s not an excuse, it’s the truth. I admit that letting it cloud my judgment was a mistake. It made me feel that nothing I did was enough, and the more I tried to “look perfect,” the more it resembled an AI render, without actually being one. That weighed on me so much that I ended up working only in flat color, until I couldn’t anymore.

I know how to render, but digital results were consuming me. So I’m taking a hiatus. I’ll go back to traditional methods, detach from that obsession, and look for a new rendering style that is truly mine.

If you feel disappointed, if you decide to step away, I understand and respect it. But the difference is that I won’t run. I’ll face it. And for those who have commissioned work from me: everything has been legitimate, handmade. If you believe otherwise, you have the right to a refund.

A continuation of the previous text

In the end, this isn’t about AI or techniques; it’s about integrity. And even if the world wants you to hide your mistakes, I prefer to walk with them, because that’s where what truly matters is born.

Again, I apologize. I’ll work hard to improve. I’m grateful to those who choose to stay, and I respect those who step away. But remember this: truth and honesty aren’t always popular… but they’re the only things that leave something that truly lasts.

Thank you.

Small artist #arttrain and #artshare! There are tons of small creators who can't get traction. Let's change that Share artists who you think deserve more love! Here's mine @okuri-inu.bsky.social @gingerjinglebell.bsky.social @shadowsofiron.bsky.social @lunaaria.bsky.social @gauzukizuki.bsky.social

A piece of art featuring my parrot Sona holding a sign in front of a bluish background. He has stars in his eyes and a big smile on his face. The sign he's holding reads "Support Small Artists". Right below that, the text continues. "All of us have been small at one point. Artists are a community, and every bit of support matters". Below that, we have 4 lines saying "Every like, every repost, every comment, and Every thing", each with a respective symbol(Like with a heart, repost with the repost button, comment with a dialog box and thing with a phrase saying "Your art has improved so much! Keep going!" And below that, "For small artists, they can mean the world"

On the right side, near that text, there are a crude drawing of tremor doodling on a piece of paper, a Pallete with a brush, and a tablet with a drawing pen over it. It was made as a campaign for helping out smaller artists be seen

A piece of art featuring Shyning fingah holding a small, Chiikawa version of their partner, Berribad in his hand. He has a blush and smile on his face, happy to see them, and Berri sends him a heart

Second week of vacation: I had to deal with a few personal issues, and the desire of wanting to go back to streaming is getting kind of strong, but I know it's for the best to continue. On the bright side: I've managed to spend more time with my friends and my special bird @neshirox.bsky.social
