It's a found footage style horror movie from south Korea. A group of influencers go to a notoriously haunted asylum for views & it goes horribly wrong. I've seen several horror movies in this particular genre & this is one of the best ones I've seen

They just keep trying to redo the original story over & over & over again. There's nothing scary or even interesting about them. Tbh I think Evil Dead Rise was the best one. There were a few things that were neat about Burn but it was a very mid movie. They're taking themselves way too seriously imo

So i went & watched the newer Evil Dead (2014, 2023 & 2026) movies cuz we were curious...I don't think anybody knows exactly wtf they're doing with this series. Bruce Campbell was right, they're not funny enough. They're taking this way too seriously & as a result all those new movies are mediocre

According to the owner the school house is actually haunted. She has said that sometimes there will be ghost children running through the halls & little giggles can be heard about the house. I've seen the house a few times while on drives through the area. It looks exactly like it does in the movie

Although I haven't been there since I was in high-school so maybe the food has improved. The school house is still there. It was purchased by a woman (idk her name). She originally made it into a museum commemorating the movie. It's no longer a museum & is now a residence for her daughter

Random fun fact about me: I live about a 30 min drive from Bodega Bay where they filmed Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.Here's a few facts I just happen to know. The Tides restaurant is still there! It's gone through some modern renovations but it's still there.I can't recommend the fried calamari tho😬
