Saw a lot of negative discourse about the new Gears game online because of a female character. Played it yesterday & LOVED it. I feel bad for a lot of Gen Z & younger men & this media environment. They can’t read or talk to women. It seems like all a lot of them have is peptides and sports betting.

That’s actually a really good idea. Facebook attempted to be an “everything” app but also decided to support absolutely non of it and leave its users a FAQ sheet to solve problems. They also don’t care about bots and scams. Replicating some of their greatest hits and doing them right is smart.

Today is my 40th. I’ve had lots of well wishes and some amazing gifts. One of my favorites is this displate my girlfriend got me of Expidition 33. If you don’t know the game a notice it, it looks like a French oil painting. But IYKYK. Really pretty, and the colors work well with the space.

My girlfriend is in tech, AI, and robotics. I am not nearly as tech savvy as she is. Any time I want to explain something technical to her, I quickly become aware of how little I actually know and feel like I sound like this.

American public transit is soooo hit and miss. In my area the updated the main train to be electric. (Caltrain). And it’s actually really nice now. Fast, smooth, and quiet. But if you transfer to BART, it’s basically a bunch of squeaky, shuddering, slow, rust bucket.
