"Ajani's Response" for #MtGSoS Secrets of Strixhaven! I was BLESSED by AD Ovidio Cartagena who gave me this awesome card to do. I had, on an airy dream, asked for Ajani to paint, and to my surprise I got him! This was also the first time I used a traditional sketch as the base.

(1/3) I know I’ve been quieter than usual lately, with messages and emails waiting for replies. Life sometimes writes its own script, and things don’t always go as planned. I’m taking everything one step at a time, and I genuinely appreciate your patience🌻

1/2 This is personal to me. My grandfather was imprisoned in the German concentration camp in Płaszów. He survived, but he carried the trauma for the rest of his life. The pain and horror inflicted by the Nazis are not some "aesthetic" to be used for profit. This is beyond disgusting.

Hi!!! There are a lot of new people following me here and I thought I'd reintroduce myself! My name is Danny and I'm an illustrator mostly for Magic: The Gathering, Tarot stuff and publishing projects. I love nature and vibrant colors and characters, but mostly just good stories are my jam.
