Capcom never got to Daredevil, so that’ll probably still be Matt.

The main thing I could see benefiting is how they could’ve weaved in the kidnapping attempt from the very beginning, which could have foreshadowed the emergence of the Dark Avatar. The pieces were there, they just weren’t given the time to lay it all out.

That’s entirely possible, she’s still missing from the X-Mansion.

Once a leader of the X-Men, Cyclops now wields the cosmic force of creation and destruction. Inspired by his rise as one of the Phoenix Five in Avengers vs. X-Men, Phoenix Cyclops is ready to bring absolute justice, whatever the cost.

That was one of the big things that held back Korra, & you can definitely tell that they would’ve greatly benefited from more foresight of how many seasons they had to work with. I’m glad that Seven Havens won’t have the same issue.

To be fair, CrossWorlds got damn-near everyone major. The only notable omissions are Trip & Surge, and they can be covered through the remaining free DLC.

It's now cheaper than the Day 1 base game, which could honestly help get more sales at retail (especially with SpongeBob & Steve on the cover).

My girlfriend is gonna like the Hello Kitty pack, but sadly no Cinnamoroll. And hey, we get Aigis! Plus some VF content in time for VF6.

Interestingly enough, this was originally distributed by Sony. But they dropped out, leading to Paramount picking it up.

Good, at least now the writers don't have to be stuck in the limbo of not being sure if they'll get renewed & be limited in terms of what kinds of stories they can tell.

It is, it's now $40 for the base game & $60 for the game w/ the Year 1 pass.

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

The base game is still all on the cartridge from the looks of it, it's the DLC that you have to download. While I would've preferred everything on the cart, it's definitely better than a GKC.

Ah, I guess it's a byproduct of Capcom/Bamco/NRS (respectively) aiming for bigger mass appeal. And in the case of Capcom's pivot for SF6, they were proven correct.

Based on some of the leaks, it seems like the plan is to have a battle pass that gives you unlock tickets for costumes you can get through the in-game store.

The leaked DLC stage could point towards a cosmic-based team this season, which Scott would fit in with.

110

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

My gut feeling is that it's a cosmic team given how Klyntar was leaked as the Year 1 stage, implying that some form of Venom is coming to the roster.

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

DLC might still be team-based, we just don't know the theme yet.

Going by certain reports, Sony was holding up the Tōkon skins that were supposed to have dropped months ago. So while they eventually relented, the delays likely pushed back Eternal Storm as a result.

000

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

According to those in the know, it is.

000

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Apparently it’s because of Sony.

Miller Ross (via Twitter)

It's a rights thing I think because of the collab. They're not trying to be obtuse, in fact I'm sure they'd love to speak frankly about this

010

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Easily the best two they could’ve picked.

010

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Tokon's Year 1 looks to be cosmic-based going by Phoenix Cyclops & the (leaked) Klyntar stage, so we should be safe from Luna for at least this season.

020

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I'm sure it will be, especially since Sony clearly had Tōkon Storm skip ahead in line over Eternal Storm.

120

Nabil Mehari @neoxon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Thankfully Luna isn't playable in Tōkon (as of now).

I get your logic, but it feels like Evening Star wanted to make an entirely new IP on their terms. But yeah, it would be cool for SEGA to give them a non-Sonic IP like how they let the SoR4 devs do Shinobi (the other IP they were looking at).
